The Biotechnology Graduate Program is designed to provide students with marketable skills and qualifications for work in a high-tech industry, as well as the academic foundation necessary to pursue further medical and professional studies.
The University of Texas Health Science Center offers this specialized program through a collaboration with Stephen F. Austin State University at Nacogdoches. The program leads to a Master of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.
The large number of faculty furnished by the collaboration of the two campuses allows for individual attention and provides many possible areas for research experience. Students will be taught using the newest scientific equipment to prepare them for specialized careers.
