Medical Education
The Department of Medical Education is responsible for all continuing medical education (CME) activities. The mission of the Health Center's CME program is to provide high quality educational activities designed to enhance physicians' commitment to lifelong learning.
The ultimate goal is to promote and further the practice of evidence-based and cost-effective healthcare in keeping with the Health Center's mission to provide excellent patient care.
BLS/CPR
Basic Life Support/Cardio Pulmonary Resusitation training is held on the 2nd Monday of each month in Hudnall Auditorium.

Heartsaver Course
This course is designed for personnel such as clerks, PCAs, techs, dietitians and others that have direct patient contact and may need to respond to an emergency.
8:30 a.m - 11:00 a.m
Note: Participants arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be allowed to take the course.
Healthcare Provider Course
This course is designed for healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, PAs, and other allied healthcare professionals. This course requires the successful completion of a written exam.
12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
Note: Participants arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be allowed to take the course.
Maximum class size for each course is 20
Registrations are accepted in the Department of Medical Education on a first come, first serve basis with a completed registration form and registration fee. Cancellations and/or substitutions are accepted if received at least 24 hours in advance. Call (903) 877-7250 for more information.
After registration is processed and textbook mailed, refunds are not available. With advance notice, we will rescheduled you for the next available course.
