Melinda "Mindy" Campbell, M.D.

Undergraduate:
University of California at Santa Barbara

Medical School:
University of Colorado School of Medicine

Biography:
Dr. Campbell grew up in California where she learned to surf and play softball. During college she became involved with the "Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times", volunteering as a camp counselor for pediatric cancer patients through medical school. Dr. Campbell was also a "Buff Buddy" for pediatric sickle cell patients.

Dr. Campbell plans to practice small town family medicine.

Dr. Campbell has a very sweet, [and very spoiled] dachshund named Hoover.


Zachary "Zach" Drain, M.D.

Undergraduate:
University of Texas at Austin

Medical School:
Texas Tech University School of Medicine

Biography:
Dr. Drain was born and grew up in Corsicana, Texas. During medical school Dr. Drain was involved in many extra-curricular organizations and projects. He served as Vice President of his medical school class for third and fourth year, and as President of the Student Senate his fourth year.

Dr. Drain also made medical mission trips to Romania and Greece, and assisted in a teleconferencing clinic for the Texas Panhandle Mental Health and Mental Retardation organization.

Dr. Drain plans to practice in a small, rural community.

Dr. Drain is married to Courtney.


Clifton "Ross" Hamic, M.D.

Undergraduate:
Louisiana Tech University

Medical School:
Louisiana State University Medical Center School of Medicine in Shreveport

Biography:
Dr. Hamic was born and grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana. During college and medical school Dr. Hamic was involved in extensive volunteer work which included Turkey Earthquake relief team, Katrina Hurricane Relief team and mission trip to Mexico. Dr. Hamic also worked as a teaching assistant and instructed allied health students. Dr. Hamic was active in the LSU Student Spouse Alliance.

While in medical school, Dr. Hamic was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical student honor society.

Dr. Hamic would like to return to Louisiana following residency.

Dr. Hamic is married to Mia, a Physician’s Assistant.


Mark Hamilton, M.D.

Undergraduate:
The University of Oklahoma

Medical School:
University of Oklahoma College of Medicine

Biography:
Dr. Hamilton was born and grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma. During medical school Dr. Hamilton’s extensive volunteer experience included Co-editor of the student literary journal; President of the Hispanic American Medical Student Association; College of Medicine Student Council member; Little Flower Health Clinic volunteer.

Dr. Hamilton was a proud member of the OU marching band, continuing to play and march with the alumni band every year at Homecoming.

While in medical school, Dr. Hamilton was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical student honor society.

Dr. Hamilton would like to practice in a mid-size town in Oklahoma or Texas.


Edward "Eddie" Ngo, M.D.

Undergraduate:
University of Dallas

Medical School:
University of Texas Medical School at Houston

Biography:
Dr. Ngo was born in Arkansas. During medical school Dr. Ngo served as President of the Asian American Medical Association and was Secretary of the Family Medicine Interest Group. Dr. Ngo was also very involved in the Catholic Youth Ministry and in outreach to Vietnamese teenagers, and was a medical school community volunteer.

Dr. Ngo has taught Science and Chemistry at the High School level.

Dr. Ngo is engaged to Jennifer.


Elizabeth "Betsy" Pearch, D.O.

Undergraduate:
Texas Christian University

Medical School:
Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine

Biography:
Dr. Pearch was born in Roswell, New Mexico. During medical school Dr. Pearch was very active in professional organizations including: Medical Student Government Association President; student delegate for Texas at the AOA House of Delegates; TOMA Student Chair; attended DO Day on the Hill in Washington, D.C. for three years. Dr. Pearch was also active in community service including Boys and Girls Club fundraisers and the Vietnamese Health Fair. During college Dr. Pearch worked as an Emergency Room Technician.

Dr. Pearch would like to practice in a small group setting in a suburban area.


William "Will" Sanders, M.D.

Undergraduate:
Louisiana Tech University

Medical School:
Louisiana State University Medical Center School of Medicine in Shreveport

Biography:
Dr. Sanders grew up in Homer, Louisiana. During medical school Dr. Sanders served as Vice President of the Family Medicine Interest Group. Dr. Sanders also volunteered as a science fair judge, and was a camp counselor at a camp for special needs children. Dr. Sanders has worked as a mental health technician and was foreman of a transportation department road crew, building roads for four summers.

Dr. Sanders plans to practice in a medically underserved area.

Dr. Sanders is married to Jean, a teacher. They have one daughter.
