Johnathan Baines, M.D.

Biography:
Dr. Baines was born and grew up in Shreveport. During college he was a member of the Association of Baptist Students where he participated in community outreach projects.

Dr. Baines also worked as an orderly and a Radiology File Clerk.

While in medical school, Dr. Baines went on a medical mission trip to remote areas of Honduras.

Dr. Baines is married to Anna. They have two children.

Chris Beene, M.D.

Undergraduate:
East Central University, Oklahoma

Medical School:
University of Oklahoma College of Medicine

Biography:
Dr. Beene was born in McAlester, Oklahoma and grew up on the family ranch in Stigler.

During medical school Dr. Beene was the Family Medicine Coordinator for the Primary Care Student Interest Group, he also volunteered at an indigent clinic and was a counselor for Muscular Dystrophy Camp.

Dr. Beene was also employed as a BLS instructor and a galley tech.

Dr. Beene plans to practice in a rural, underserved area. He recently became engaged to Courtney.

Carlos Galindo, M.D.

Undergraduate:
Texas A&M, Kingsville

Medical School:
University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston

Biography:
Dr. Galindo was born and grew up in Falfurrias, Texas. During medical school he was a member of the Family Medicine Student Interest Group and participated in outreach to new students to interest them in Family Medicine.

Dr. Galindo is the recipient of several academic scholarships. He speaks and reads Spanish.

Byron Henry, M.D.

Biography:
Dr. Henry was born in Monroe, Louisiana and grew up in Winnsboro, LA.

Prior to medical school Dr. Henry worked as a Chemist for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. During medical school Dr. Henry was on the planning committee for the Family Medicine Student Interest Group. He also participated as a children’s booth volunteer at the "Red River Revel".

Dr. Henry is the recipient of several academic scholarships.

Dr. Henry is married to Amy, an occupational therapist

Frank Loyd, D.O.

Undergraduate:
Abilene Christian University

Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine

Biography:
Dr. Loyd was born in Dallas and grew up in New Mexico. After medical school Dr. Loyd served as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force for four years.

He was chosen as Flight Surgeon of the Year in 2005

Dr. Loyd is married to Andrea, a Physicians Assistant, they have two children.

Ryan Menard, M.D.

Biography:
Dr. Menard was born in Eunice, Louisiana. During college he volunteered in the emergency room radiology department. In medical school Dr. Menard was a student volunteer for Stand Tall Against Tobacco, and participated in a rural family medicine rotation through Louisiana AHEC.

Dr. Menard is fluent in Cajun French

Henry Renteria, M.D.

Biography:
Dr. Renteria was born in Amherst, Texas. During college he worked as a research assistant and as a veterinary technician. In medical school Dr. Renteria was a camp coordinator for a pre-medical academy program for college students interested in medicine.

Dr. Renteria is fluent in Spanish

CSS: This specification defines Cascading Style Sheets, level 2 (CSS2). CSS2 is a style sheet language that allows authors and users to attach style (e.g., fonts, spacing, and aural cues) to structured documents (e.g., HTML documents and XML applications). By separating the presentation style of documents from the content of documents, CSS2 simplifies Web authoring and site maintenance.
XHTML 1.1: This Recommendation defines a new XHTML document type that is based upon the module framework and modules defined in Modularization of XHTML [XHTMLMOD]. The purpose of this document type is to serve as the basis for future extended XHTML 'family' document types, and to provide a consistent, forward-looking document type cleanly separated from the deprecated, legacy functionality of HTML 4 [HTML4] that was brought forward into the XHTML 1.0 [XHTML1] document types. This document type is essentially a reformulation of XHTML 1.0 Strict using XHTML Modules. This means that many facilities available in other XHTML Family document types (e.g., XHTML Frames) are not available in this document type. These other facilities are available through modules defined in Modularization of XHTML, and document authors are free to define document types based upon XHTML 1.1 that use these facilities (see [XHTMLMOD] for information on creating new document types).
WAI-AAA: These guidelines explain how to make Web content accessible to people with disabilities. The guidelines are intended for all Web content developers (page authors and site designers) and for developers of authoring tools. The primary goal of these guidelines is to promote accessibility. However, following them will also make Web content more available to all users, whatever user agent they are using (e.g., desktop browser, voice browser, mobile phone, automobile-based personal computer, etc.) or constraints they may be operating under (e.g., noisy surroundings, under- or over-illuminated rooms, in a hands-free environment, etc.). Following these guidelines will also help people find information on the Web more quickly. These guidelines do not discourage content developers from using images, video, etc., but rather explain how to make multimedia content more accessible to a wide audience.
