Radiologist from Longview joins UT Health Center at Tyler

Radames Martinez, Jr., MD, has joined the Radiology Department at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler as an assistant professor of medicine.

He comes to UTHSCT from East Texas Radiology Consultants in Longview, where he has practiced since 1989. Dr. Martinez is board certified in radiology, and is a diplomate in the American College of Radiology. His special interests include nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging, and interventional radiology.

Dr. Martinez joins UTHSCT after 24 years in private practice. He completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Martinez received his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
