Family medicine physician Lee Schreiber, MD, joins UTHSCT

Lee R. Schreiber, MD, has joined The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler as an assistant professor of family medicine.
He will see patients at the University Health Clinic, located at 3310 Patriot Drive, near the corner of University Boulevard and Patriot Drive on the campus of the University of Texas at Tyler.
Dr. Schreiber, who is board certified in family medicine, comes to UTHSCT after more than 10 years with TexomaCare in Bonham, Texas.
He also has been a family medicine physician in El Paso and at the Naval Hospital in Twentynine Palms in Twentynine Palms, Calif., as well as the Naval Hospital Branch Medical Clinic in Beaufort, S.C.
Dr. Schreiber completed his residency in family medicine at the Naval Hospital Charleston in Charleston, S.C.
He served his internship in family medicine at the R.E. Thomason General Hospital, Texas Tech Regional Academic Health Sciences Center in El Paso.
He received his medical degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in San Antonio.
Dr. Schreiber has a special interest in sports medicine and in treating patients of all ages who suffer from chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, thyroid, GERD, and arthritis.
