’Aging Well’ is topic of Women’s Health Seminar set for Saturday at UTHCT’s Hudnall Auditorium

How can women remain active, vital, and healthy as they grow older? Find out at a free seminar, "Aging Well," from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, Oct. 1, in Hudnall Auditorium at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, 11937 U.S. Highway 271 in Tyler.

Carl U. Westbrook, II, MD, will discuss the positives of menopause, as well as when a hysterectomy is an appropriate treatment. Beverly E. Gerard, MD, will talk about the role of holistic medicine in women’s health.

Dr. Westbrook is associate professor of surgery-gynecology at UTHSCT, and Dr. Gerard is assistant professor of surgery-gynecology. Both are Fellows of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In addition to the seminar, free cholesterol and blood pressure screenings will be offered. Refreshments will be provided by BioniCare.
