UTHSCT lung specialist Dr. Julie Philley to tackle COPD in “Dine with our Doctors” event in Hawkins

HAWKINS – Lung disease expert Julie Philley, MD, of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, will talk about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at a free “Dine with our Doctors” health seminar.

The seminar will be held at noon on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at the Hawkins Community Center, 301 Lynch St. in Hawkins.

Dr. Philley will answer questions about COPD, the third-leading cause of death in the United States. She also will outline the steps people with COPD can take to improve their quality of life.
