Cutting-edge care in a compassionate environment
The Chamblee Cancer Treatment and Research Center provides patients with the latest cancer therapies in a compassionate and comfortable environment. We offer integrated treatment of cancer and hematology disorders, education, and cancer prevention programs.
Led by the expertly trained Coty Ho, MD, who is UTHSCT’s chief of medical oncology, the Chamblee Cancer Center team combines cutting-edge therapies with excellent patient care. Dr. Ho believes that knowledge, compassion, and open communication between patient and physician are key to providing the best cancer treatment possible.
Years of experience and advanced training in cancer treatment
Dr. Ho, who is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, completed his medical oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine’s Sydney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center in Baltimore. He served his residency and internship in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn.
The Chamblee Cancer Center’s goal is to offer patients excellent care and specialized therapies for cancer, especially lung cancer, drawing upon UTHSCT’s national reputation for expertise in treating lung diseases.
The Chamblee Cancer Center was funded by a donation from the estate of C.G. “Red” and Emmaline Chamblee in memory of their son. The Chamblees also wanted to honor UTHSCT employees and volunteers for the exceptional care given to their family.
