About Tyler

Tyler is located in northeast Texas and is an affordable metropolitan city with a population of over 100,000 offering cultural diversity, a major university campus, numerous medical facilities, a healthy range of medium to large size production businesses, recreational parks, and is known for its rolling hills, forested landscapes, lakes, pine trees, surrounding towns, and a number of arts and educational venues. Public primary and secondary education for much of the city is provided by the Tyler Independent School District. Tyler’s higher education institutions include The University of Texas at Tyler, Tyler Junior College, and Texas College. Dallas and Shreveport are within two hours driving time.
