Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship – Overview

About The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center

The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center (HSC) is the region’s only academic medical center. Through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, our program will have a class of two fellows in training each year, with a total complement of six fellows being present by 2025. Our UT Health Science Center at Tyler Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship Program exists amongst other fellowship programs including Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychology, Sports Medicine, and Hospice & Palliative Care. As the governing body, the Graduate Medical Education Committee at HSC provides oversight to these sponsored fellowship programs and has decades of experience in directing successful graduate medical education programs which continue to produce highly competent and accomplished graduates each year. Backed by the University of Texas System, the leadership at HSC and UT Health East Texas are determined to leave a large footprint on the landscape of medical education, healthcare delivery, and innovative research in East Texas.
