2022 Registration Closed

Join us for the 8th Annual Northeast Texas Community Health Workers’ Coalition Conference. This one-day conference is designed for Community Health Workers (CHWs), Community Health Worker Instructors (CHWIs), CHW/CHWI supervisors and employers as well as community stakeholders. This conference will be an in-person conference with limited space (75 attendees). All attendees will be offered a swag bag and up to five (5) Certified CEUs and two (2) non-certified CEUs for both CHWs and CHWIs. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

The Northeast Texas CHW Coalition Conference addresses the role CHWs and CHWIs play in creating access to care, reducing costs to care, and promoting healthy and happy communities. Conference planners have recruited subject matter experts from diverse fields to expand the working knowledge for all attendees.

In addition, the conference highlights the importance of how CHWs and CHWIs reduce health disparities; provide a positive return on investment; impact social determinants of health,  having difficult conversations with communities, and display methods of overcoming barriers to CHW/CHWI program success.
