Dr. Moore is an Assistant Professor of Occupational and Environmental Health Science at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. He received his PhD in Biosystems Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Early in his career, Dr. Moore designed mass transfer equipment used in the oil and gas and chemicals manufacturing industries. After earning his MBA, he returned to Oklahoma State University where he served as Director of Student Academic Services for the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology.

Dr. Moore is engaged in protecting worker health and safety, with special interest in agriculture and construction. He serves as Responsible Official for the Public Health Laboratory of East Texas (PHLET) and Co-PI for the Pilot/Feasibility Studies Program in the Southwest Center for Agricultural Health, Injury Prevention and Education (SW Ag Center).
