Biography

Dr. Menard has been a family physician at UTHSCT since completing residency in 2010 and has been on staff ever since. He grew up in Ville Platte, LA, a small town in south Louisiana, where he went to college at Louisiana State University. After earning his college degree, he went to medical school at LSU Health – Shreveport. Dr. Menard enjoys the good people of East Texas and finds it a joy and privilege to come to work every day to help take care of them.

He enjoys and spends most of the time with his wife Mindy and three children, Chelsea, Shelby, and Nick. He is an avid football and baseball sports fan and enjoys reading and learning about history. Dr. Menard grew up camping and fishing and enjoys the outdoors, and he loves to cook delicious Cajun cuisine.

Research Interests

Dr. Menard practices medicine in the outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings and has a specialty interest in the evaluation and treatment of obesity the related health problems caused by trouble with weight.
