Sandhya was born and raised in the suburbs of Washington D.C. and graduated from the University of Maryland with a dual degree in Supply Chain Management and Finance. She served in the AmeriCorps in Chicago before attending Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, where she cultivated her love of preventative medicine and primary care.

She loves to talk politics, and can be found practicing yoga, gardening, and reading in her free time. She is also an animal lover and a proud cat mother.
