Shelbi Bolton, DO

William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine
Family Medicine Residency

Shelbi Bolton was born and raised in East Texas in a little community called New Summerfield, right outside of Jacksonville, Texas. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX with a degree in nutrition and dietetics. She then went to medical school at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, MS. Coming back home to serve East Texas through medicine was always her goal. She enjoys many aspects of medicine and plans to have an outpatient practice seeing newborns, children, young adults and the elderly, but her passion has always been for health and fitness which led her to obesity medicine.

Outside of medicine, she can be found hanging out with her husband and two-year-old daughter, as well as their very large, extended family who all happen to be in East Texas. She enjoys fitness, boating, gardening, and decorating for all holidays. Most of their time as a family is spent outdoors. Their three dogs and one mini goat keep them plenty busy!
