What I like most about UTHSCT:

By far the welcoming atmosphere was what struck me from Day 1. From the staff on the units to the upper level residents and attendings, everyone was genuinely happy to welcome me. I felt part of the team from the get go and coming from the medical school environment it was a breath of fresh air!

Professional Interests:

Very fascinated with trauma & stress related disorders. Specifically PTSD and understanding factors which may play a protective role in individuals from it and how to help identify individuals who are at a heightened risk.

Hobbies:

Huge fan of strategy games whether they are on the PC or tabletop. Snowboarding when I get the chance to be near snow. Going to the parks here in Tyler with my dogs has been wonderful. Also a huge fan of history and the ancient world almost to a fault.
