Isaac is native to east Texas, he graduated from Pine Tree high school in Longview, TX and attended UT Tyler for undergraduate degree in chemistry. He attended medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX.

Outside of medicine Dr. Burnett enjoys hiking with his wife and dogs, playing guitar, and barbecues with his friends on the weekend.
