Jasmine was born and raised in northwest Louisiana. She graduated with honors from Xavier University of Louisiana with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then went on to attend Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Her medical interests include addiction medicine and women's health. She is also passionate about patient advocacy and peer mentorship.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and trying new restaurants. She is always ready for a photo op and loves working on her Youtube channel 'Breaking it Down with Dr. Jas'.
