Why UT Athens? I love rural medicine and training in a rural area where I could do full scope family medicine, including obstetrics, was important for me. We do all of that here at UT Athens! It’s exciting to be part of a new program and have a say in how I and future residents are trained. We are in a small town with access to Dallas a little over an hour away.

Career Goals: I plan to return to rural Arkansas to practice full scope family medicine while also using my MPH to provide health education programs in my community.
