Brenda was raised in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Stony Brook University with degrees in biology and sociology. She later went on to obtain her medical education at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. During that time, she appreciated the renown southern hospitality and applied to East Texas to stay within its warmth. Her areas of interest include procedural and hospitalist work. She enjoys hunting for new plants to add to her jungle collection and watching her garden grow on her free time. She indulges her adventurous side by cooking new recipes, trying out new workouts and exploring Tyler with her chill co-residents.
