Dr. Zia is from Houston, Texas. He attended medical school at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Ft. Worth. His hobbies include mountain biking, exploring national parks, playing tennis and following NBA basketball. He also enjoys video editing and piano in his spare time. His area of interest is Endocrinology. His reason for choosing UT Tyler was for "the opportunity to be part of a growing UT System program, camaraderie amongst residents, and the natural scenery of East Texas."
