What I like most about UTHCT:
The overall welcoming atmosphere was one of my strongest initial impressions of UTHCT. The program leadership has a genuine interest in the residents not only as doctors developing a professional identity, but as individuals as well. The collegial culture among residents was evident from my very first interactions with them. I also appreciate the program’s strong emphasis on resident wellness.
Professional Interests:
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (mood disorders, trauma, suicide, gender dysphoria), psychotherapy, mental health challenges in the LGBTQ+ community, access to mental health services in underserved populations, academic psychiatry, and telepsychiatry
Hobbies:
Spending time with family and friends, animal companions, reading (literary fiction; Russian classics; romanticism, symbolism, and acmeism movements in poetry), whole-food plant-based diet
