Brian grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma. He received his undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma. He graduated from medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His interests in medicine include chronic disease management, preventive medicine and out-patient procedures.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, reading, and watching sports.
