Welcome to the School of Community and Rural Health at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler.

The Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree prepares students for leadership and management positions in healthcare delivery organizations such as hospitals, clinics, and payer organizations such as health insurance companies.  The program is 48 Semester Credit Hours; a two (2) year program for a full-time student.  Taught by experienced board-certified faculty, the MHA degree is designed to develop the knowledge and skills needed for future leaders to meet the challenges of the health industry in the era of population health and value-based purchasing.  The program will enable a career of opportunities and upward progression while providing leadership in the health industry so that communities, family, friends, and neighbors are healthy using methods, tools and applications that are efficient, effective and efficacious.

Warm Regards,
