Our Master of Science in Biotechnology will provide you with highly marketable skills and qualifications to work in the biotechnology industry and the academic foundation to pursue further medical and professional studies. You will receive a hands-on, laboratory based program taught by world-class National Institutes of Health (NIH)- funded biomedical research faculty at an affordable cost.

You’re invited to work alongside HSC’s research and teaching faculty as they conduct nationally recognized and funded research in groundbreaking significant fields. Our two-year thesis program will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology on the campus of a University of Texas academic medical center.
