She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and is from Jacksonville, Texas.

What are your interests in your field? Why are you passionate about this topic? Why is it important?

I am passionate about helping improve my patient’s overall lifestyle. My passion within family medicine is women’s health and preventative medicine.

What is your favorite part about East Texas so far?

I love being back home in East Texas!

What is the most helpful advice you have received?

Your family comes first above all else. Goals without plans are just dreams.

Who has influenced you the most in life and why?

My mother; she is patient, steadfast and the wisest person I know.

What are you plans upon completion of your residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler?

I plan to stay in East Texas and practice in my hometown of Jacksonville, Texas.
