Mission Statement
The mission of the SW Ag Center is to improve the safety & health of agricultural, forestry & fishing workers. This is accomplished through research, intervention & education projects that build and leverage a network of strategic partners who represent the diversity of the workforce and range of agricultural production in the region.

Action Principles
The SW Ag Center represents a unique geographic region that can maximize its contribution to agricultural safety and health practices by supporting work that incorporates:
- Worker population concerns that have regional or national significance
- A particular problem that has significance to a state in the region
- Specific, understudied population in the region
- A multiplier effect to generate additional resources
- The ability to reach additional audiences through collaboration
- Sustainable interventions
