What are the dates for the program?
June 2-6, 2019 | Students will stay in dorms for the week.
What is the cost?
The cost of camp for each student will be $100. The fee will be applied towards the total expense of the camp, which includes all meals, lodging, transportation, and activities. Scholarships are available to students demonstrating financial need.
How can I apply?
To apply for the UTHSCT Summer Medical Scholars Academy, complete the online application and submit materials no later than February 1, 2019. Space is limited so apply TODAY!
Who is eligible to apply?
- High school students (grades 9-11).
- Must be 16 years old as of the first day of camp.
- Must be able to attend all five days of camp and have a sincere desire to learn about health careers.

How are students selected?
A selection committee will review applications and students will be notified of their acceptance status by March 1, 2019. Those accepted will receive more detailed information.
