Students at the Health Science Center at UT Tyler have access to tutoring 24 hours a day 7 days a week through a web-based service called tutor.com.
Tutor.com describes its service as, “… a fully online tutoring service. You can get a tutor 24/7 in more than 40 subjects including Math, Science, Social Studies, English, AP ® Support, Foreign Languages and Business. Tutoring sessions take place in our easy-to-use online classroom, which runs in your web browser.”
The Writing Center
The Writing Center is staffed by a highly trained group of students, graduate and undergraduate, many of whom are part of the Department of Literature and Languages. All tutors are carefully screened and trained to work as an interested reader for any kind of writing project.
