The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler (UTHSCT) has named Dr. Tiffany Hill the chair of pediatrics. Dr. Hill joined the UTHSCT faculty in September.
Hill has served as a pediatrician at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Tyler since April 2019. For the previous 18 years, she worked at Columbia Pediatrics in Columbia, Tennessee. From 1997 to 2001, she worked at Glendale Pediatrics in Glendale, California. She has been certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and in the American Heart Association’s Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) course.
Dr. Hill earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude at Boston University and her medical degree and a master’s in nutrition from Chicago Medical School. She was a pediatric resident at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was a senior resident at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, California.
